Kids can slice, dice and learn where their food comes from during spring cooking camps taking place at Harvest Green on Wednesdays beginning March 27.

Chefs from Cook Learn Grow, a cooking school for kids, will be at the Farmhouse, 3400 Harvest Corner Drive, using freshly harvested produce from our Village Farm to create delicious dishes. The camps are designed to reinforce literacy, math, science, nutrition and social skills while exploring diverse foods.

Camps will be offered at different grade levels. Camps for K-2 students will take place from 4-5 p.m. Camps for grades 3-5 will take place from 5:30-6:45 p.m. Students will meet every Wednesday through May 1. Cost is $185 per student. Click here to register.

Class sizes are limited, so don’t delay. A welcome packet and syllabus will be emailed after registration.

Cook Learn Grow was founded by Lori Hinze, a professional educator and graduate of The International Culinary Center in New York City. The mobile educational program focuses on food literacy through fun, hands-on curriculum and programming.
