Unleash Your Inner Artist Feb. 16 and 17

Kids and adults will have opportunities to unleash their inner artists, inspired by the colorful art of Roberta Harris and Chuck Hipsher on display at The Farmhouse beginning Feb. 9.

We invite you to join in the fun and create something beautiful with the help of one of the talented artists-in-residence at the Contemporary Art Museum. There will be one workshop for adults and one for children taking place at The Farmhouse, 3400 Harvest Corner Drive. Classes are $35 per student, and all supplies will be provided.

The adult class takes place Friday, Feb. 16, from 7 to 9 p.m. We provide light refreshments, you provide creativity — and an adult beverage (It’s BYOB).

The children’s class takes place the following day, Saturday, Feb. 17, from 10 a.m. to noon. Children will work with the artist to create a more-than-fridgeworthy piece of art to take home.

In addition to the workshops, we will be holding a reception for the artists on Thursday, Feb. 22, from 7 to 9 p.m. Come out and meet the artists and discover the stories behind their art.
