STEM Summer Camp Offers Fun in 3D, July 24-28

If your kids are interested in art, engineering and thinking outside-the-box, have we got a summer camp for you!

Join Dez Mendoza, Master Math Teacher and Engineering Instructor extraordinaire, at the Farmhouse, 3400 Harvest Corner Drive, for a five-day 3D Art & Engineering Design STEM camp Monday through Friday, July 24-28, from 1-4 p.m.

Campers, ages 12 and up, will have an opportunity to use the latest industry-standard 3D technology to develop their imaginations and create realistic drawings. Easy, interactive lessons and a variety of engaging activities will feed their fantasies and prepare them to excel in math, science and engineering when they get back to school.

Students must be prepared to bring their own laptop to camp so they can install the 3D software — worth $5,105 — which they can use for free for three years!

Minimum Laptop System Requirements include:

  • Windows 10 OS
  • 64-bit Intel Core i7, 2 GHz or faster
  • 8 GB RAM or higher
  • 100 GB Disk space minimum
  • Microsoft Direct3D 10 capable graphics card or higher
  • 1280 x 1024 display resolution or higher
  • For Mac computers, the software will run on a dual OS platform using Apple Boot Camp or Mac Virtualization on Parallels platform with Windows 10.

Camp is $250 plus a $20 registration fee. For more information click here or email Mr. Dez. If your young engineer is chomping at the bit, you can register now .
