Harvest Green Farmhouse Opens April 22

If the Village Farm is Harvest Green’s heart, then The Farmhouse — our fabulous new amenity complex — will be its soul when it opens on Saturday, April 22.

The expansive facility will boast a contemporary clubhouse with vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the resort pool and patio. Inside, residents will have access to state-of-the-art exercise equipment in the fitness room and a separate exercise room for Pilates and yoga classes. A large multi-purpose room with an adjoining kitchen will be available for resident events and party rentals. Outside the pool gates, children will enjoy splishing on the splash pad or sliding on the play equipment in the playground.

The venue also includes a lake for weekend kayaking excursions or a backdrop for family picnics. Concerts and performances will be held at the new lakeside amphitheater. A lighted event lawn will host festivals and other activities planned by our lifestyle director. Walking and biking paths will encircle the entire complex.

The grand opening celebration will be held from noon to 4 p.m. in conjunction with our Earth Day Extravaganza, a fun-filled party featuring Farmhouse tours, animal adoptions, kayaking, a watermelon-eating contest, performances by Travis High School students, a disc jockey and a chance to meet the official Harvest Green mascot - a baby goat!

The Farmhouse adds another layer to the active, healthy lifestyle enjoyed by Harvest Green residents, who also have access to fresh produce from the Village Farm and through a CSA that delivers sustainably grown produce right to their doors. A network of trails, open spaces and beautiful Oyster Creek offer multiple opportunities to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the outdoors.
