Share the Harvest with Loam

This event has passed. Please check out our upcoming events at Harvest Green to see what's coming up!

Join us on the farm Saturday, January 6th, from 10am to 1pm and get your hands dirty for a good cause! Harvest farm-fresh veggies to take home to your family and share the rest with families in need.

We're partnering with the East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry, Inc.(EFBHNM) to make sure families in financial crisis start 2018 off with access to fresh, healthy food. After having some fun in the field, you'll be able to present the fruits of your labor directly to the EFBHNM rep. at the farm and learn, first-hand, about the impact you've made.

We'll have coffee to keep you warm, and Bacon Brothers Public House - Texas will use veggies from the farm to cook up something tasty to satisfy the appetite you've worked up harvesting for those who need it most!

What you'll need:
1. Be sure to wear boots! It's a farm so your shoes will get muddy. How much mud you come back with depends on the rain.
2. Old clothing, or garb you don't mind getting dirty.
3. A bag or tote to carry home all of the awesome veggies you get.

We're located at 1300 Harlem Rd. in Richmond, TX, but sometimes that pesky GPS won't put you in the exact location. If you have trouble finding our little slice of paradise, or if you have any other questions about Share the Harvest feel free to give us a shout at the email or phone numbers listed below.
