Harvest Green Maintains Top 50 Status
Homebuyers are flocking to Harvest Green. So much so, that we moved up seven spots on the Robert Charles Lesser & Co. (RCLCO) Top-Selling Master-Planned Communities mid-year 2020 report.
Harvest Green landed at No. 43 in the nation, according to the recent report. We had an impressive 225 home sales during the first half of 2020 — a 20 percent gain! Last year we placed at No. 50.
The average growth for the top 50 was 16 percent. We are well above average – something our residents already know!
Harvest Green is the only Houston master-planned community centered on a 12-acre community farm. Putting fresh produce on our residents’ tables is one of the ways we promote a healthy lifestyle. In addition to a CSA, backyard gardens, and edible landscaping, homeowners can rent in-ground farm plots in which to grow their own vegetables and herbs under the tutelage of our Farm Educators. Membership in our Farm Club has doubled since March.
That’s not the only way we keep our residents healthy. Community life revolves around our beautiful Farmhouse. This recreation complex houses our resort-style pool and fitness center. It’s also the home of Abria, our full-time Director of Fun, and Kory, our Director of Fitness. Even during quarantine, they were on the job with virtual events and exercise classes.
Coming next year will be the on-site Messina Hoff Harvest Green Winery & Kitchen (that alone is worth making the move).
Harvest Green is one of six Johnson Development communities to be named among the top 50 master-planned communities in Texas. Sienna in Missouri City weighed in at No. 17 with 289 home sales.
