Meet Abria Anderson, Our New Director of Fun

Abria Anderson, our new Director of Fun, is hitting the ground running with a passion for planning and a notebook full of ideas.

Abria is in charge of planning the more than 75 recreational events and activities for our residents. She helps coordinate our clubs as well as oversees the children’s lifestyle merit program. It’s a big job, but we’re sure she is up to the task.

The proud Bearkat and graduate of Sam Houston State University has a bachelor’s degree in marketing. Before joining our community, she was an event planner for Houston Event Planning where she coordinated everything from corporate functions to weddings. She believes that experience and her Sugar Land roots will help her in her new position.

“The neighborhood I grew up in was very diverse and so were the schools I attended,” Abria said. “This allowed me to learn about and take advantage of the different cultures around me. I hope to use what was instilled in me to add to the existing greatness of Harvest Green.”

Abria’s passion for event planning began with masterminding family gatherings, and she still enjoys competitive game nights with family and friends. She also enjoys crafting with her Cricut, discovering new restaurants and traveling. She’s always willing to sample new things and new foods at least once.

“I love trying new things,” Abria said. “I hope to introduce Harvest Green to new experiences for all ages. I also look forward to showing my true care and passion for people and hospitality as I serve, learn from and grow with the Harvest Green community!

We look forward to working with Abria and are excited to discover what she has in store for us. If you haven’t met her yet, stop by the Farmhouse and be sure to say, “Hello.”
