Pilates, Pints and Pups Fetches $300 for Charity

Can we get a round of “appaws” for everyone that took part in our Pilates, Pints and Pups event? Thanks to our “rebarkable” exercise buddies, we raised $300 to help shelter pups find “fur-ever” homes.

The 60-minute Pilates class and “yappy” hour took place at the Farmhouse on May 18. Proceeds from the class — all $300 — benefited Pup Squad Animal Rescue.

After class, it was time to kick back and relax with a pint from Eureka Heights Brewing Company and all the dogs we could pet, courtesy of Pup Squad. People who signed up for Pilates got to take home a “paw-some” Harvest Green pint glass.

If you missed the class but are interested in adopting from Pup Squad, take a look at their list of adorable, adoptable dogs. Then, fill out an on-line application and start the adoption process.

Pup Squad Animal Rescue shelters orphaned puppies and nursing litters and then matches them with permanent adoptive homes.

Thank you, Pup Squad, for letting us get to know your fur babies, and thanks again to everyone who helped make our Pilates, Pints and Pups fundraiser a success.
