Harvest Green Montessori Celebrates Grand Opening

One of the many things we love about Harvest Green is the educational opportunities available to parents right here in our community, including the option to enroll children at Harvest Green Montessori.

The private school, located at 4100 Harvest Corner Drive next to Neil Elementary, hosted a grand opening celebration last month, showcasing well-lit, oversized and fully equipped Montessori classrooms, three age-appropriate playgrounds, a splash pad and a supersized gymnasium.

Certified Montessori teachers facilitate a child-centered curriculum based on a “discovery” model, where students learn concepts from working with materials, rather than by direct instruction.

All-day programs for children ages 6 months to 6 years are available. Tuition includes snacks, with breakfast available for children enrolled in the extended care program. The school also offers catered lunches Monday through Friday for parents who would like a hot vegetarian or non-vegetarian meal for their child. Children also may bring lunches from home or enroll in a combination of the two.

After-school care is available for elementary school students up to age 12. A number of enrichment activities are provided. Homework assistance, foreign language, yoga, gardening skills and physical education are included with tuition. STEM classes, ballet, piano, guitar, violin, fine arts, soccer, basketball, chess and martial arts are available for an additional fee.

Parents can enroll their children at any time throughout the school year. To tour the school, or for enrollment information visit the school’s website.

Harvest Green also boasts three on-site Fort Bend ISD schools, allowing them to start and finish their education close to home.
