Hobby Lobby and More Open Nearby

Grab your glue guns and sequins because a new Hobby Lobby recently opened near Harvest Green — and that’s just the beginning.

The new 55,000-square-foot store is located at 10247 W. Grand Parkway South. This is the craft retailer’s 101^st location in Texas. The new store is open 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday for all of your crafting needs.

Hobby Lobby isn’t the only new shop to open near us. Marshall’s opened in The Market Center at Aliana last November, next to the new Target concept store. (Have you been? It’s amazing!) Pet owners can spoil their fur babies at the new PetSmart. Two dental practices also have opened at the shopping center — My Kids Dentist and Dentists of Fort Bend.

And there’s more retail coming soon. Meaning you will be able to fill your closet with footwear from Rack Room, get a manicure at Nails of America and pick up a new phone at T-Mobile. Great Clips, GNC, MOD Pizza, Mattress Firm, Starbucks and Sally Beauty also have been announced as tenants.

Even closer will be the Shops at Harvest Green, currently under construction, located across from Travis High School. The current tenant lineup includes Burgerim, an international gourmet burger franchise, National Dry Cleaners and Highland Dental office.

And don’t forget about the new Flix Brewhouse opening next year in the Hub at Harvest Green, a 300,000-square-foot upscale shopping, dining and entertainment project planned at Grand Parkway and West Airport Boulevard.
